How to get here Lyme Regis lies on the south west Dorset coast only a mile from the Dorset-Devon border. From Dorchester and the East Follow the A35 towards Honiton and at the roundabout at the western end of the Charmouth bypass take the road to Lyme Regis. Follow the road into the town and up the main street. Fork right at the end of the parade of shops and continue past the Library. Take the first right into Hill Road, Manaton is 200 yds on the right hand side. From Exeter and the West Follow the A35 from Honiton towards Dorchester and turn right (just past the Axminster turnings) at the Hunters Lodge pub, signposted B3165 Lyme Regis. Follow the road through Uplyme and into Lyme Regis. Continue straight ahead at a mini-roundabout, past the pink Mariners Hotel and the Nag's Head pub and then take the next turning left into Hill Road. Manaton is 200 yds on the right hand side. From Taunton and the North Leave the M5 at junction 25 turning south east onto the A358. Follow the road initially towards Illminster and continue on the A358 through Chard to Axminster. Follow signs to Lyme Regis as you enter Axminster, these will lead you to the A35 where you should turn left towards Dorchester. Shortly turn right at the Hunters Lodge pub, signposted B3165 Lyme Regis. Follow the road through Uplyme and into Lyme Regis. Continue straight ahead at a mini-roundabout, past the pink Mariners Hotel and the Nag's Head pub and then take the next turning left into Hill Road. Manaton is 200 yds on the right hand side. From the A303 southbound. Take the A356 to Crewkerne (approximately 5 miles). In Crewkerne follow the signs to Lyme Regis B3165 (9 miles)
and you will eventually reach the A35 and the Hunters Lodge pub opposite. Take
the road beside the pub (still the B3165) through Uplyme and into Lyme Regis. Continue straight ahead at a
mini-roundabout, past the pink Mariners Hotel and the Nag's Head pub and then take the next turning left
into Hill Road. Manaton is 200 yds on the right hand side.
